I can relate to your comments about the Pentagon building the last new harball court. I spent 40 yrs working for the Army at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. We had two harball courts. A few years after we switched to the international game, the Army closed that facility and built a new one. We pleaded with them to make the new court with international standards for softball. They built a brand new harball court! Today, it is a weight room because no one used the squash court.
