It should be noted, however, that the Indianapolis Athletic Club is no longer struggling to overcome the effects of the fire - the IAC closed and its building sold to a developer several years ago. Most of the building has been converted into condominiums. Rumor has it that one, or at best two, squash courts may have survived the conversion, for use by residents, but no one seems to know for sure.</description>
